About
|
The project focus is on the electricity supply infrastructure of South America. The need for future investments is evaluated for a set of about 300 scenarios and the main drivers for the development of the system are identified. The model ranges over 35 years, includes 11 countries and is based on 48 annual time-slices, with detailed and country-specific representation of all generation technologies. The model has a special focus on hydro power and is developed in a collaboration between KTH dESA and University of Rio de Janeiro.
